I don't try to make myself feel better - I wallow in it. :o)
Just kidding, this is the normal routine: eat something sweet or salty, talk to one of my family members, go outside, play my music loud and dance in my apartment, watch a movie, think about a cute Jewish boy...there are myriad ways I cheer myself up.
I like to look in the mirror and tell myself, "I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And doggoneit, people like me."
For real, though, I like to listen to music, read, clean a bathroom . . . read that list from 10th-grade English class, where we all had to write something positive about each other . . .

I could be a monster if I chose to be.
Hm, good points, all.
