Thanks for the cds you lent me. The black lips album is pretty great. Gangi has a really interesting voice. I can't get that animal song out of my head- I've been walking around school singing it (I'm pretty sure people think I need to be hospitalized). ANimals, anIMals, aniMALS!
last weekend i listened to cat power's "what would the community think" for the first time in years. my friend burned it for me and sent ti to me. my own copy of the album i lost- one of those tragedies where you hang on to the empty cover long after the cd is gone- like holding onto a dead person's clothes.
anyway, even though she did not include my favorite cat power song ever on it for some reason- i was still struck by how much i loved that album. i's going on your CD ---
