Those were hilarious! Although I am a HUGE, I MEAN HUGE, fan of Sade, that line does bother me too. The song is so great though! You know you love it!

Chase-lyn was reading those to me tonight. I understand how dificult it is to write consistently meaningful lyrics, but COME ON...
I think that if you can't hit the "meaningful" mark with your lyrics, you should just go for zany. The key is to know when you're falling flat.
That's why I love Prince. Even when he tries to take himself seriously there's always a smirk lurking behind every line.
I'll have to take your word for it.
